USDai Technical Overview

The USDai protocol uses smart contracts for stable-asset issuance, vault shares, loan routing and transparent accounting while coordinating with offchain financing and collateral processes.

USDai

USDai is the base stable asset. Primary issuance can be restricted to approved counterparties, while the token itself can be held and transferred according to the active contract design.

sUSDai Vault

sUSDai is designed as a tokenized vault share. Deposits are synchronous, while redemptions can be asynchronous to reflect the liquidity profile of the underlying lending book.

Loan Routing & NAV

Protocol modules coordinate funding into eligible loans, borrower repayments and vault accounting. Share pricing depends on the vault’s net asset value and the treatment of performing, defaulted and recovered positions.

Omnichain & Roles

Cross-chain representations and administrative roles are permissioned according to contract-level access controls. Governance and security processes should be reviewed before relying on any privileged operation.
