USDai Depositor Overview

The depositor side of USDai separates the stable base asset from the yield-bearing credit exposure. USDai is the entry asset; sUSDai represents the yield-bearing vault position.

USDai

USDai is designed as the stable base asset. It does not need to carry the same credit and liquidity profile as the yield-bearing vault token.

sUSDai

Users can stake USDai for sUSDai. Yield is reflected through the exchange relationship between the vault shares and underlying assets rather than requiring a separate manual reward claim.

Where Yield Comes From

Yield can be generated by interest from active GPU-backed loans and returns on eligible reserve assets while capital is not deployed into loans.

Composability

USDai and sUSDai are intended to be composable assets that can be held, transferred and used across supported DeFi markets, subject to each integration’s own risks.
